Here's how to change your default Google account:
When you're logged into multiple Google accounts, Google uses a "default" account for certain services. This often determines which account is used when you click links or access Google services without explicitly choosing an account.
Changing the Default Account: There's no explicit setting to directly "change the default." Instead, the first Google account you sign into on a browser or device generally becomes the default.
Solution: Signing Out and In: The easiest way to effectively change the default is to sign out of all Google accounts from your browser or device. Then, sign back in, making sure you sign in to the account you want as your default first.
Multiple Accounts Signed In: Once you're signed into multiple accounts, you can switch between them manually within most Google services (like Gmail, Drive, etc.) by clicking on your profile picture.
Mobile Devices (Android): On Android, the "primary" account is often the first one added to the device. Managing multiple accounts on Android can be done through the system settings: Settings > Accounts > Google
. Here, you can remove accounts and add them back in the order you prefer, which will influence which account is used by default for certain system-level actions. However, apps like Gmail allow you to independently select which account to use.
